“The Process” to finding myself once again, underneath the veil of anguish belies my newfound pathway in art; art that speaks to the lost, the broken, art that seeks to rejuvenate compassion, divinity, and honor for the sacred feminine. In the throes of my deep-rooted despair, I found solace in the brush and canvas, paint had become the conduit through which anguish would depart my body, my soul.

The veil, my chrysalis, teases the viewer with my blossoming form, the brushstrokes embedded with this newfound love. My birdcage, my past sits empty and fades away into a background of dark hues, the birds flock around my head, encouraging my growth to freedom.

As I stand before this canvas, a tapestry woven from the threads of my own anguish and transcendence, I am reminded of the profound truth that pain is not a cage, but a crucible, a catalyst for the unveiling of our innermost selves. And it is through the embrace of our suffering, through the willingness to venture into the depths of our own beings, that we can emerge transformed, reborn, and forever connected to the infinite expanse of the divine.
