The Process
Oil on Copper Panel
18”x24” Painting
27”x33” Framed
Beneath the veil, lies the hopeful quest for a new pathway. In despair, I found solace in my art, my conduit for release.
My former cage, symbolic of past constraints, sits empty in the fading background. From painful depths, "The Process" becomes a pathway toward letting in light and hope. The paint and brushstrokes state what had become too hard to vocalize.
The process of this painting served as a catharsis amidst a time when my plight was centered on finding a path forward. I was searching for new light and hope for myself and for my two children, who are forever the birds of my sky.
